Day 1
First day complete.
Pretty tired. living in a basement apartment with three other girls.
the plane ride was short.
i saw a rainbow. then we went to reads. my roomates are really interesting people that i am really happy i have met.
hmmm what else has happened? i think this whole experience is surreal right now. i feel like i am dreaming. so out of my comfort zone.
we went to costco and bought tonnes of good foodies!
now i am eating one of my 3 square meals a day, lasagna, corn and salad to be exact. i hope all is well!

sleven
seven days until the longest vacation of my life.
weird to think it is actually happening, because i really can't believe it. i get taken aback, thinking that i am actually going. i need to start packing.
what to pack? i don't know yet. creature comforts are a must. clothes. underpants. pens. markers. post cards. maybe some love?
any suggestions?

i wrote this in november
look beyond your heart
to fill the spaces that need warmth
the ones that need a little bit of spring cleaning.
crawl inside your mind
to find the thoughts you never wanted
but did anyway.
rub your eyes good morning
to see the things you take for granted,
the little squirrels and hints of sunshine.

the stars the sea and reality
the stars i see, is that reality?
is it the psychic word
or am diluted
where have i come to
gone from
in be
tween
the words were true
but i can't bring them
to mean something about you.

dream? reality?
So it is the summer.
I start my new job tomorrow
it is DAYS (well days and some weeks) until Moncton
volunteering things are moving along
i am starting on law school projects
and
it is the smell of sweet sweet summer freedom.
cheers to all , you are in the months of regeneration. can't wait to see you all soon in september (and hopefully in between now and then) and see how we've changed.

You are tired (I think)
by e.e. cummings
You are tired,
(I think)
Of the always puzzle of living and doing;
And so am I.
Come with me, then,
And we’ll leave it far and far away—
(Only you and I, understand!)
You have played,
(I think)
And broke the toys you were fondest of,
And are a little tired now;
Tired of things that break, and—
Just tired.
So am I.
But I come with a dream in my eyes tonight,
And I knock with a rose at the hopeless gate of your heart—
Open to me!
For I will show you places Nobody knows,
And, if you like,
The perfect places of Sleep.
Ah, come with me!
I’ll blow you that wonderful bubble, the moon,
That floats forever and a day;
I’ll sing you the jacinth song
Of the probable stars;
I will attempt the unstartled steppes of dream,
Until I find the Only Flower,
Which shall keep (I think) your little heart
While the moon comes out of the sea.
